Old renderings
Here is some older stuff that I thought I'd put up here even though its already on 9999pure.com. I used the same technique as the photo of the f-22 flightline, where the space is exaggerated using intense focus. I also lowered the contrast and gave it a slightly grainy effect to give a convincing old photo look.

These are not toys
This is actually an Air Force photo of an F-22 flightline, and I messed around in photoshop to give it that toy-like focus that I've seen a few photographers do these days. It's pretty cool to learn these kind of effects and think about how I could apply them to my design presentations. It could be a pretty cool tool, how to use it... Check out the link to the tutorial. Monster
I saw this on a really amazing website called Shorpy. This is the Chesapeake & Ohio M-1 steam turbine locomotive in 1949. These engines were coal-fired turbines that produced 6,000 horsepower! They were complete failures, unless you measure success in terms of awesomeness. They were built in 1947 by Baldwin Locomotive Works, and because they were massively complex and expensive, were retired by 1950. What a beast!
